Ein Ausflug in das einzigartige Titanic-Museum ist ebenso Bestandteil Ihrer Reise wie eine herrliche Whiskey-Verkostung in der bekannten Bushmills Distillery und die Besichtigung vieler verzauberter Wälder und Klöster auf der Insel.

Heute beginnt Ihre zauberhafte Reise. Sie fliegen zunächst in den Süden der Insel nach Dublin. Dort werden Sie von der deutschsprachigen Reiseleitung begrüßt und zu Ihrem Hotel gebracht, bevor es am nächsten Tag in den märchenhaften Norden Irlands geht.
Freuen Sie sich heute auf einen ereignisreichen Tag. Auf dem Weg nach Nordirland fahren Sie durch eine wunderschöne Natur. Es gibt kaum einen Ort auf der Welt, der so viele verschiedene Grüntöne bietet wie diese Insel. Die Reise führt Sie zunächst zum 1738 erbauten Ardgillan Castle, welches inmitten einer wunderschönen, weitläufigen Parkanlage mit Rosengarten liegt. Genießen Sie von hier aus einen sagenhaften Ausblick über die Irische See. Der nächste Zwischenhalt wird am Kloster Monasterboice im County Louth in Irland eingelegt. Hier wartet eine beeindruckende Klosteranlage auf Sie. Neben einem alten Friedhof, zwei verfallenen Kirchen und einem Rundturm versetzen drei gigantische Hochkreuze, darunter „Tall Cross“, welches als das höchste, sowie „Murdoch’s Cross“, was als das schönste Hochkreuz Irlands gilt, die Besucher ins Erstaunen. Sie übernachten heute im Raum Antrim/Belfast.
Der heutige Tag ist Belfast gewidmet, nach Dublin die größte Stadt der Insel und Hauptstadt des Nordens. Hier vereinen sich Tradition und Moderne. Auf Ihrer Stadtrundfahrt erleben Sie die geschichtsträchtigen Straßen mit Ihrer unversehrten viktorianischen Architektur ebenso wie beeindruckende Kunstwerke auf Häuserwänden, die das Lebensgefühl der Bevölkerung in der jüngsten Vergangenheit widerspiegeln. Zur Stadtrundfahrt gehört auch der Besuch des spektakulären Titanic-Museums, das schon durch seine ungewöhnliche Architektur auffällt. Das Titanic-Erlebniszentrum bietet seinen Besuchern eine fantastische Ausstellung und beleuchtet die Geschichte des Schiffes von den Anfängen in Belfast bis zum Untergang im Atlantik. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der 3D-Rundgang durch alle Stockwerke des berühmten Wasserfahrzeugs. Mit viel Aufwand, Technik und Liebe zum Detail wird Ihnen hier ein unvergessliches Museums-Erlebnis präsentiert. Sollten Sie das Eintritts- und Kulturpaket gebucht haben, besuchen Sie das ehemalige Tenderschiff SS Nomadic in Belfast, die kleine Schwester der Titanic. Der Eintritt ist für Sie inklusive. Andernfalls dürfen Sie etwas mehr Zeit im Titanic-Museum verbringen oder Freizeit in Belfast genießen. Anschließend geht es zurück zu Ihrem Hotel. Sie übernachten erneut im Raum Antrim/Belfast.
Die wundervolle und einzigartige Natur Nordirlands lernen Sie am heutigen Tag näher kennen. Ihre Reise führt Sie an den fantastischen Glenariff Forest Park mit seiner atemberaubenden grünen Kulisse. Dort können Sie die Aussicht über das „Glen“ bis auf die Meerenge zwischen Atlantik und Irischer See bestaunen. Ihre Fahrt führt Sie weiter entlang der imposanten Antrim Coast mit ihren gigantischen Felsformationen und traumhaften Landschaften zur Insel Carrick-a-Rede. Diese unbewohnte Insel ist durch eine Hängebrücke mit dem Festland verbunden. Wenn Sie keine Höhenangst haben und die 30 Meter hohe und 20 Meter lange Brücke überqueren möchten, werden Sie mit einer fantastischen Aussicht bis nach Schottland belohnt (Eintritt optional vor Ort buchbar). Danach geht es wieder zur Übernachtung in den Raum Antrim/Belfast.
Heute wird es mystisch, denn die Tour bringt Sie zunächst in die Allee The Dark Hedges, die Teil eines spektakulären Buchenwaldes ist, den Sie so bestimmt noch nie gesehen haben. Niemand weiß, warum die Bäume hier so anders wachsen als sonst üblich. Der Legende nach wird dieser Wald regelmäßig von einem Geist aufgesucht. Bekannt ist dieser Ort auch aus der Fernsehserie „Game of Thrones“ als Teil des „Königsweges“. Danach führt Sie die Reise zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe Giant’s Causeway, zum „Damm des Riesen“. Fionn mac Cool, so der Name des Riesen, hat diesen Damm gebaut, um seinen schottischen Widersacher Benandonner zu besiegen. Der Eintritt ist für Sie bereits inklusive. Im Anschluss daran lernen Sie eine der ältesten Whiskeybrennereien der Welt kennen. Die berühmte Old Bushmills Distillery ist bekannt durch ihre Single-Malt-Whiskeys, die Sie hier gerne verkosten dürfen. Die große Ruine der mittelalterlichen Burg Dunluce befindet sich auf einem Basaltfelsen an der Nordküste, wo Sie einen Fotostopp einlegen werden, um die beeindruckende Festung für die Ewigkeit festzuhalten. Danach geht es an die Atlantik-Küste zum sehenswerten Mussenden Tempel mit wundervollem Ausblick auf den Downhill Beach. Übernachtung im Raum Letterkenny/Londonderry.
Die Reise führt Sie zum Glenveagh National Park im County Donegal. Der große Park mit seinen fantastischen Seen, Schluchten und Bergen beherbergt eine der größten Rotwild-Herden Irlands. Dort unternehmen Sie, sofern Sie nicht das optionale Eintritts- und Kulturpaket gebucht haben, einen Spaziergang. Bei Buchung des Eintritts- und Kulturpakets besuchen Sie das grandiose Glenveagh Castle mit seinen üppigen Grünanlagen, die eine wahre Augenweide in der ansonsten recht kargen Landschaft sind. Danach geht es ins Hotel nach Donegal, einer kleinen irischen Stadt im Nordwesten Irlands.
Heute werden Sie zunächst in Donegal bleiben und das beschauliche Kunst- und Handwerkerdorf Donegal Craft Village besichtigen. Hier können Sie tolle Souvenirs und beeindruckende Handarbeiten bestaunen und erwerben. Bei einer beschaulichen Bootstour auf dem Lough Erne können Sie im Anschluss wunderbar entspannen. Im Rahmen des optionalen Eintritts- & Kulturpaketes besuchen Sie das Guinness Storehouse in Dublin und nehmen an einer Guinness Verkostung teil. Andernfalls steht Ihnen freie Zeit in Dublin zu Verfügung. Übernachtung anschließend im Raum Dublin/Meath.
